Grant Destache is a member of the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board and a Co-Chair of the Tijuana River Valley Recovery Team.

Steve Smullen is the San Diego Area Operations Manager for the International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC). and the Chair of the Tijuana River Valley Recovery Team's Flooding and Hydrology Work Group and  Border Action Team.



Ben McCue is the Conservation Director for WildCoast, an Imperial Beach non-profit working to improve beach water quality. He has been working on conservation efforts in the Tijuana River Valley for more than five years.


Mike McCoy is the vice-president of the Southwest Wetlands Interpretive Association (SWIA). He has been active in efforts on both sides of the border in working to restore the Tijuana Estuary.

David Gibson is the Executive Officer of the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board and the Co-Chair of the Tijuana River Valley Recovery Team.


Clay Phillips, Manager of the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, Superintendent of Border Field State Park, and Co-Chair of the Border Action Team.


Jeff Crooks is the Research Coordinator for the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, the chair of the Tijuana River Valley Recovery Team's Ecosystem Work Group, and Co-Chair of the Restoration Action Team.
